Built in 1865, Lynwood is a traditional Victorian Lakeland guest house — stylish, comfortable and genuinely affordable. We sit on a quiet street, yet you're only a stone's throw from the shops, bars and restaurants of Windermere, and a few short minutes from the bus and train station.

Our elegant, tastefully furnished rooms have everything you need for a restful stay: en-suite shower rooms, television, tea & coffee, and free WiFi throughout. We're open through every season and welcome guests from all over the world.
